Where does the name Hringhorni come from?
The name has its origins from the book Gylfaginningu, where it says: 'Hringhorni hét skip Baldrs. Hann var allra skipa mestr var Baldr brenndur ţar ásamt konu sinn Nönnu Nepsdóttir, Hesti sínum og dvergnum Litr eftir ađ Loki Laufeyjarson hafđi fengiđ bróđir hans Höđr skjóta hann međ mistilteini.'
'Hringhorni was the shiđ of Baldr. It was the best of all ships and Baldr was burned there along with his wife Nönnu Nepsdóttir, his horse and the dward Litr after Loki Laufeyjarsjon had tricked his brother Höđr into shooting him with mistiltoe.
